From a packed bag to an ICROSS ready for the water. Watch at your own pace, then follow the steps below.
Follow the step-by-step guide- 01
Unpack and prepare
Unroll the board on a flat, clean surface away from sharp objects. Set out the pump, fin and equipment included in your package.
Open the valve cap. The valve button should be in its raised position for inflation. Connect the pump hose securely.
- 02
Inflate the board
Inflate to the recommended working pressure: 7–10 PSI. Read the pump gauge and always follow the instructions for your model.
Heat can raise the pressure and cold can lower it. Check before use. Disconnect the hose and close the valve cap.

Valve with the cap removed – the centre pin is visible inside. - 03
Fit the fin
Carefully turn the board over on a clean surface. Slide the fin into its track and secure the locking mechanism.
Check that the fin is secure before turning the board back. Avoid putting weight on the fin or dragging it along the ground.

Assemble the paddle and check that its connections lock. Attach the paddle leash to the designated D-ring. Accessories vary between packages.

Check and launch
Check the pressure, valve cap, fin lock and attachments. Secure loose equipment and put on your buoyancy aid.
Carry the board to the water. Choose a calm, sheltered launch spot with enough depth for the fin.
After your outing
Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use, clean and let your equipment dry before storage. Follow the care instructions when deflating and packing the board.
