ICROSS / INSIDE AND OUT
Materials & construction
The threads that hold the shape. The skin that meets the water. The grip underfoot. Get to know the parts that make up your ICROSS.

01 / THE CORE
Structure starts on the inside.
Thousands of polyester threads connect the top and bottom of the board. As you inflate it, the threads become taut and hold the two surfaces at a set distance. This gives the inflatable construction its shape and rigidity.
Drop-stitch
The threads limit how far the top and bottom surfaces can move apart.
PVC
The outer skin encloses the core and holds the air inside.
Air pressure
Pressure tensions the structure. Release the air and the board can be rolled up.
02 / THE SURFACES
Two materials. Different jobs.
The surfaces you see and feel matter just as much as the construction inside.

PVC. The skin around the core.
Reinforced PVC forms the board’s outer skin. The fine embossing belongs to the surface; the drop-stitch threads are inside. Cleaning and drying after each trip help keep the material in good condition.

EVA. Grip on deck.
EVA is a foam material with a softer feel than PVC. The diamond pattern adds texture and grip underfoot, while the fine-grained surface gives the deck pad its tactile character.
03 / THE DETAILS
Small parts with a clear purpose.

D-rings
The deck has attachment points for chair straps and equipment. Shown here are the four additional carrying-harness rings underneath the ICROSS 1610.

Paddle holders
Keep the paddle along the side when you need your hands free. Release it when you are ready to paddle on.

Detachable fin
The fin helps the board track while paddling. It can be removed for transport and storage.
04 / THE MODELS
One construction. Two sizes.
The 1610 offers a shorter format. The 3000 offers more length and room for equipment, with packages for one or two chairs.
